Steve is an experienced and gifted knife maker, specialising in damascus steel. He is a member of the QMAC Management Committee and a regular participant in QMAC events. Steve also holds regular workshops for QMAC members. In keeping with the QMAC Charter, Steve freely shares his wealth of knowledge and experience with our members. Thanks Steve!
Josh got into knifemaking after a work related injury. His current aim is to grow in search of the perfect blade. Not only is Josh a talented knifemaker, but he makes wonderful leather sheaths as well. Josh is an active QMAC member, and is happy to share his knowledge and skills with our members.
Will is a quiet achiever, his talents only came to the attention of QMAC recently. We believe his work needs to be showcased!
Will has been quietly working away in his shed at this fantastic sculpture. This is his work in progress.
Brad is a trade qualified boilermaker/welder, 28 and he's been making knives and swords for a about 3 years. Brad recently started his own company, White Armoury to start taking his hobby a little more seriously.
Brad does all types of work from simple modifications and repairs of equipment to complete rebuilds, as well as his own hand made items.
Brad is a valued QMAC member, happy to share his knowledge and further the already impressive skill base of QMAC.
Tim Kingsford (26) is a young spare-time knifemaker.
Tim got into the knife making scene around five or six years ago trying to find "the perfect knife". He ambitiously embarked on making his first folding knife, and got hooked.
Tim will be attending the Sydney Knife Show for the first time as an exhibitor this year.
Barney is a new knifemaker, recently winning a grant from the Australian Arts Council is the disability category. Barney intends to put his grant to good use by attending knife courses. QMAC is excited to see one of our members getting ahead!
